Neutral Earthing Resistors Our resistors are generally composed of the active part (resistor blocks) and a steel housing. The housing is constructed entirely of sheet steel, mounted on a steel frame and for outdoor installation suitable (dusty, humid conditions). Optionally can be delivered in zinc coated execution or in stainless steel (AISI 304). Both the frame, the side panels and the roof are depending on the requirements made of 2.0 or 2.5 mm thick material. Optionally it can be supplied in protection degree IP20, IP21, IP23, IP33, IP45 or IP54. Resistor and the housing are constructed so that the rated current can be carried without danger for the operator and without stress for the material. The surface treatment is generally carried out in powder coating technology. Standard colors are RAL 7033, 7032 and 7035. Special color build-up such as iron mica add-on or special coloring are optional. Resistor elements (resistor grids) itself are made of stainless steel (AISI 430 or 304). Optionally, the resistor can be delivered with an one- or three-pole vacuum switch, with a sectionalizer and / or a variety of accessories, such as current transformers, protection relays, lighting, thermostatically / hygrostatically controlled heaters etc.
